The Public Trust
“If my baby is sick, the staff will know what to do for him, no matter where I deliver.”
Many nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals may have limited experience in stabilizing sick newborns therefore, it is often a challenge for hospital staff to maintain knowledge and skills in this area. Following successful resuscitation, caregivers must turn to other resources for the necessary ongoing and supportive care.
How is the program administered?
The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is taught over one to two days in a didactic-interactive format by experts in neonatal nursing, medicine, and respiratory care. Private and National Instructor courses are offered throughout the year to prepare Instructors for course presentation.
